Brian,

Last year a friend and I went to the Orvis school in Florida. Rail was $500 each, sharing a bath with everyone in the car, a 7 hour connection layover, plus the car rental was way across town. We saved a lot of money by driving. I guess about $600 each. To win, rail has to be cheaper- more convienient or something.
