I am not sure we would accomplish anything by splitting but hell, I don't care if that is what most want. I tell ya what. We always let the porch decide by committee.

If ya want to split the thread then put Y for yes or N for at the end of your post. Don't make a post just to vote.

That's my vote also. I'd have to monitor both threads and it would be less efficient because of a large number of cross posts.

The real reason the "natural home" split was that threads tend to establish a unique culture. When all the "new comers" arrived you had two incompatible cultures - a "house divided". While one may derisively refer to the S & P as the Self-righteous & Pompous, its primary function is to serve as a home for a community forged during the Holy Wars.

This thread does not have the bifurcation that necessitated the Q split. Those of us that read both Q threads can attest to the duplication. So (if it doesn't offend southern sensibilities too much) I say "united we stand".
