John, can you explain further how that...a fed change in margin requirements...would work?

Does anyone here recall the last time it happened and what the effect was?

I presume the change would be announced, effective immediately, and prices would tank in a heartbeat, or Greenspan would say he's been thinking about it, and the same thing would result.

This might even be enough to get me out of margin for a while.

John,
If I get out of margin completely what should I sell:

NTAP, EMC, QCOM, or GMST?

The questionis retorical but I think you can appreciate my dilemma. ( Although, I do know which one would go if needed.)
