Well, Country Boy, you were always about the most savy, prudent investor around, so I'm listening. I see all those dangers you cited, and am particularly concerned about the severe drop in the money supply.
Not as much worried about the "manias" going bust, since there have been significant corrections in the internet, tech, and biotech sectors all the way up.
All in all, we could do worse than take a little money off the table before about the 3rd business day in April (as a guess), and be ready to pick up bargains.
In funds, my 1999 and to date plays have been in the small caps... they have been fabulous. Hasn't it been your experience that once they start outperforming, they continue doing so for an extended period of time? (couple of years, like?)...
