Dear Larry: RE: XYBR
Going concern opinions mean that the auditors are unable to prove to their satisfaction that the company has sufficient capital to fund losing operations for another 12 months. Doesnt mean they wont, but does mean they haven't secured the means to obtain the capital from a financially sufficient provider, at that moment. They are not uncommon in development stage companies or those companies losing money on a cash flow basis. This is because companies dont often have the fund commitment legally secured until maybe 6 mos. before they need it. I dont know enough about XYBR to evaluate the seriousness of the opinion but they are correct when they say not unusual. JDN
