Well, I was wrong once today, might as well get in a second one. I believe the Microsoft "deal" offered to the DOJ, which is being treated in the media right this second as a done deal, is phony. They're offering to separate the browser from the O/S? Well whoop-de-frickin-doo. A little late for that. They just want to be able to claim they made an offer so they look like the cooperative injured party, when in fact I bet they are offering exactly nothing of substance, as I have always said. I predict the DOJ will turn it down. I hope they do. Of course if there is a deal MSFT will go up 50% in a week. --QS
