Intel's 64 bit Merced has come out about 2 YEARS AHEAD of AMD's 64 bit SludgeHumper. ANd it was functional on first silicon. ANd the 4-way CHip Set was functional as well. And 4 or 5 64 bit Operating Systems BOOTED within a month - from Microsoft, Sun, IBM/SCO, Red Hat, etc. Any PC companies announce support AMD's SLudgeHumper ? Kinda makes you wanna cringe, eh Cringe ? Paul
