chic, That leaves something Copper out of Dresdan, I'm guessing it was very fast. Like I said, this is pure rumor. There are always hundreds of rumors flying with any company the size of IBM. So we are talking about a chip that currently is not shown on AMD's roadmap? I'm straight out of college and am a pee-on for the moment. I make websites, so I don't come in contact with the PC division. Was that peon, or are you into water sports? This rumor was started back in November, if I recall right. I've read about it ?here? and on other message boards. I was posting at that time and don't remember anyone mentioning it....maybe the AMD Yahoo or RB boards. Someone else might remember though. Obviously, if I had true insider info, I would not be able to say anything. Maybe we can arrange to have you sneak someone into the PC division and see what we can find out. LOL I didn't know IBM had a division setting up websites. What kind of websites do you design? ted
