The '...' portion within the <A ...> tag will contain the URL specified by the user with some additional qualifiers if any are needed. This is where SI can control how the link gets opened - in a new window or in the current window, etc., using 'target=' qualifier. Hope this helps.

I must be missing something....the url address(the link) may be controlled by SI's HTML document but so what? Its the link that actually opens up the new window and that was Scumbria's original question. Why its necessary to know the issues surrounding the HTML code and the SI documents that control a post in order to provide a link escapes me?

BTW this is not an attack on you at all; I just annoyed with the way the whole thing unfolded.....and I am not sure why.
