2006 for adoption according to Garnter Group. A lot has been made about the ten technologies anticipated to get atttention by the Gartner Group. What is not often told is that wearable have been on that list for 3 years running. So far with questionable (best case) success.

But what is not posted by the Pumper is that Gartner goes on to say that they do not anticipate wearable moving to the mainstream until 2006.

IMO PALM will be a huge player, and will not be a stationary target like many assume. The Palms will get better and better, today they are the number one portable computing appliance.

Each year the Gartner Group identifies ten technologies that are expected to attract the most attention due to marketing hype, rapid technology evolution or growing application adoption. Wearable computers have been on that list for the past three years. Their analysts speculate that wearable computing will remain largely a curiosity for the next few years, with an unstable and rapidly-evolving vendor marketplace. However they suggest that enterprises with hands-busy mobile applications should investigate and prototype the technology and deploy tactically if appropriate. In this year's technology trends report released by the Gartner Group, wearables were predicted to enter the mainstream by the year 2006. ( Gartner Group, Strategic Analysis Report, 1999)

Hello Wolff,

Hmmm ... I know that I'm not the quickest person around ... you'll have to explain this to me if you need me to understand. I'm afraid that I just don't quite understand your meanings ...

> Handle the research that you need, talk to me on content.

Gladly ... I'm following up on all the reading that I am doing, and I'll be glad to post my analysis on everything that I find. I'll look forward to your comments!

> Your URL not being posted is a joke. Show me the absence

Again, I apologize ... I'm not sure that I understand your comment. I always try to post all URLs of my research, and I'm actually developing a web site to provide even a larger breadth of information on the areas of the market that I focus on. I'll have a lot of information on wearable computers ...

When you say my URLs ... did I not post some?

> You want to raise doubt, fine, do what you need to do

I'd actually just like to gather as much information as possible on one market that I am invested in. I appreciate your efforts, but also want to include the URLs to reference sources of information ...

Thanks again!
