Not having seen the movie, I am passing on an observation made by a very anti-abortion talk show guy, Dennis Prager. He makes the point that the doctor was only able to cope through use of ether, that the orphanage was inexplicably a pretty decent place, with hope ( a mistake as it should have been worse for a decent pro-abortion stance), and the tragic story line of the young girl who gets an abortion (involving her future husband) and then finds later they will be unable to have children, makes it effective as an anti-abortion message. What do you think?
