I wish Sprint could offer WLL terminals that plug into a home phone system so my home alarm, sattelite receivers, and Tivo video system would be able to make calls.

(gotta be easier than asking DirectTV manufacturers, etc. to put a 10-baseT jack on their box so I can put everything directly on the internet. Someday...)

Only then would I be able to walk away from POTS at home.

JGoren: I assume you bill your clients and others simply charge their expense accounts for the plan with a large supply of minutes. Many others who are not professionals or business men / or women, can not do that.

Best.

That is a lot of minutes for non-business user and at point it makes good sense to no longer have a wire phone at home, except for internet access.

It would make sense if it were a given that you could connect to Sprint's network. I am a new Sprint customer, and have been dismayed to find that I can't make a connection, or the "service is unavailable" more often than it should be. (You can go to analog and pay for roaming, but it defeats the whole purpose). And I am not in a remote calling area (I'm in the middle of West Los Angeles!)
