More from Frost: International: Improvements in the international rig counts are outpacing those in domestic waters. This week represents the fourth consecutive increase in internationally contracted rigs. The international rig count is now up 12 rigs in four weeks. It seems the recovery in international drilling activity is underway. Like in the U.S. drilling market, the international recovery seems approximately one month ahead of our bullish expectations for drilling activity, which is far ahead of the previous industry consensus. We continue to expect an acceleration in international activity in the second quarter and an active year overall.
