I am assuming you are using Win95/98/NT. Go into Settings, Control Panel, Networks and look for the TCP/IP settings for your Network card that connects to your ADSL modem. Click on Properties, DNS Configuration.

The IP addresses here should point to the DNS addresses your ADSL provider uses. If you don't know them, they should have it in their documentation or help line services.

If you are like me, the addresses will point to the DNS servers of your former dial-up service.
