Hi Jack, I hadn't read the details. I guess there's us old f--ts that have been hanging around SI for so long that we don't need no stinkin' fee paid! It will be interesting to see how it developes.

I am invested in TWE and we have fairly regular complaints about service recently with everyone attempting to get on-line and trade. Their count on new subscribers and volume of trades is growing very rapidly and the infrastructure is lagging. TWE's been throwing money at it as quickly as they can, but not fast enough.

From what others have posted, many of the OLBs are having the same problem - too much prosperity for their own good. My guess is that things will settle down in about six months to a year.

What's funny is that the OLBs' stocks have started to recover from the doldrums they've been in for some time. I sold some TWE shares a week ago on Monday for about $22 and placed an order after the close yesterday to sell some more if the price stays above $25-1/2.

Guess we'll have to find out if NDB is a good deal or not! Brokerage stocks have been favorite AIM investments for me for over a decade. Over the years I've had Quick & Reilly, A.G. Edwards, Waterhouse (before the TD connection), Raymond James, Hambrecht & Quist, Pain Weber and I think Legg Mason. ALL made me nice money. TWE's the only one I currently still have. Others here on the AIM BB have E-Trade.

Best regards, Tom

Hi Jack, Your talk will be missed by us. If there's anything you'd like to have handed out at the meeting, I'll be happy to reproduce it for you and make sure it's in the collection of info.

Sorry you won't be there. I'm looking forward to meeting you one of these days.

Hi JP, I was thinking again about your Java activities and went back and looked at Patriot Scientific's stock. It's been a while since I looked in.

By ignoring it, I think this might just qualify as a "Strewie" on my part! Somebody lit its fuse around the end of last year!

I don't have any idea what the fundamentals of the stock are, but is sure would have been fun to have caught that little "wave" and surfed a while!

Best regards, Tom
