News Flash-Bad NEWS: price is falling now for AVNX's Interleaver DWDM product, although demands are still strong. Competitions from GLW, Oplink, Chorum, ETEK, JDSU, New Focus and others are causing falling the price.

i never told anyone to buy avnx when it was trading at 270, so if you are saying that that is a lie, i have provided your post on 2/7/00 where you suggested that people buy apat (on that day it closed in the mid 50's and has got down since then) Message 12799113 by the way i just used my ignore button, so dont bother responding to me, i wont see it

Andy, you never answered fiber_guru's condemnation of your analysis over on Yahoo. Given the ubiquitousness of your messages about AVNX all over the internet, we, your readers, deserve to hear you answer your critics. In case you don't remember, here's a copy of fiber_guru's message: To Andyyam123's post on SI board by: fiber_guru 3/20/00 11:25 pm Msg: 576 of 808 Andy, I cannot help myself to say something about your post in this board and Silicon Investor. You sound technical to those who are not in the fiber optic business. But it is silly for you to try to explain the technical details. Therefore I would like to make a few corrections on your comments. First of all, zero dispersion will cause four wave mixing which is a nolinear effect. Therefore, it is better to use low dispersion slope fiber than zero dispersion fiber for DWDM. Second, dispersion is cause by the group-velocity associated with the fundamental mode of single mode fiber. Third, most of the fiber optic components have low yield and with low automation at current stage. It is not new to the industry or a specific problem to AVNX. What is unique about AVNX's dispersion compensator is its tunable feature. Please do not throw those technical terms to scare and confuse the individual investors who due not have much clue about technical details.
