I don't have a position (yet) in many of the companies I visited so I don't want to give a premature heads up.

I would be happy to meet for a few cold ones next time I am in town.

Thought this quote from the Feb. 28, 2000 news release was of interest.

The 14 Asian stock exchanges that SEG is initially targeting are expected to generate 600 million transactions in 1999. Of these 600 million transactions, 50% have just been made available for online trading and the other 50% are still largely untapped.

SEG can use their software to quickly turn an offline broker into an online broker. The SEG software directs the online trade made at their site directly to the brokers terminal. If a brokerage wants to stay afloat they are going to need to make their trading available online, even if all customers are not going to use this feature. Just look what is happening in the US, even the largest full service brokers are going online.

300 million transactions a year is a very nice market to tap into and this is just the first 14 target exchanges. Plus they can target the other 50% that are already online. Nothing like a win/win <g>

Best Regards
