Jon, I didn't validate your remarks and I certainly don't share your point of view. It's my opinion that the consumer will want a seamless experience when downloading and listening to Internet music. TI's DSP alone cannot deliver that. They are multi format capable as a encoder/decoder. Manufacturers will still need a way to port to and manage multiple systems. The labels have created this mess. By the way, thanks for validating my statement that TI's DSP acts as an encoder/decoder. Kerry
