Darrell, RE: nearly every measure one makes in comparing Dell to SUNW shows Dell succeeding SUNW, yet Dell remains 30% less market cap than SUNW.

obviously comes down to a perception issue as reality doesn't appear to be operative principle here.

The reality is that SUNW's growth is accelerating and DELL's growth is decelerating. It seems to me the market is making a correct perception based upon a very real reality.

Darrell,
HI!!

Couldn't agree with ya more...Jim Kelly has been hammering this since the summer...DELL sells more servers than SUNW right now...Even ML has mentioned that towards the end of the year and at latest the beginning of 2001 DELL will start to eat into SUNW...Smart investors should BUY DELL in here with a long term perspective knowing that this misperception will change...

Best, Kemble
