RE:"as there were rumors that Dell had cancelled a chip order and was switching some orders to AMD"...

Man would that guy quickly become, "my friend Flecka"...

You gotta be up there to get that one. <G>

Actually, if this was true, it would be a major slap in the face to Intel...and yet another verification that "demand is good, yields are high" ajajaja

Mani,

"WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This dude hears all the street rumors. It also explains today's strong action by AMD. Could it be???????????? "

Hmm... very interesting. If true, can you guess what would happen to the AMD stock price (hint:Rambus)?

By the by, the link you provided didn't work for me :^(

Comment: As previously stated, GTW first, HP second and after proper protocol gyrations, Dell...The laws of economics dictate that Dell cannot hold out much longer without competitive representation in the top-end of the market (i.e 800 MHz and above)...The Athy is the goods and Dell needs the Athy to remain competitive...It's solely a matter of time...Sounds like Dell's time is imminent!

Re: "WOW! Check out this rumors from our friend fleck!"

Comment #2: The rest of this week should prove interesting...Intel is probably launching another hail Mary pass as we speak only this time to Dell...The probability of completing two in a row is small...Look for AMD to break the $60 barrier on this rumour, by week's end, if not tomorrow!

P.S. Not only does it explain AMD's strength today, but it would also explain Intel's weakness!
