Pomp, Any stock that has run up as fast as CREE has retraces some of it`s gains. The pull back in the last 3 days has been on light volume and money flows are still OK.

hi pomp,
a few thoughts...

cree's production should be up substantially this quarter due to the completed addition last quarter and the on-going move to 3" wafers.

i believe cree has been ordering large amounts of production equipment for near term delivery...that certainly looks good for next quarter.

i believe wti either has or will close financing within days...at that point, they will be ready to make large orders of LEDs. the hunters and ibm are business savvy...i expect wti to move fast...very fast.

is there a relationship between cree equipment orders and wti?

i am not a ta guy....i can say this. cree went from a low of 95 on 25 jan to a high of 198 on or about 16 feb. nothing has changed the fa....retraces of 3/8 - 5/8 after gains like that are very common. then a bit of consolidation before the next run. the longer the consolidation, the stronger the base for the next run. i personally would be happy to stay right in this range until next report.

geoffrey moore explains in the "gorilla game" that the key for a rapidly growing company is revenues...if the revenue growth is sustained (i believe it is), it will be a clear indicator that cree is in tornadic growth. continued increases in earnings will just be a plus.

to this mix...throw in a possible gilder report...or imo a likely gilder report to support his new powercosm theme...
then add a new product or two...rf or microwave...or...

:o)
