Hi Bill,

This has been a nice "blue light special Sale". I'm a big believer in double bottoms for buying and bull trap-failed double tops for selling into.I can't say anything more than to call it a market hunch.

I really expect the final top of this great bull market to go out in grandiose style. It will feature all past rotating sectors to advance and this certainly includes the strong dogs of the past as they sucker breakout buyers into marginal new highs. It just simply seems to be a requirement of proper distribution. That is ,after all what must be accomplished at the final top.

I watch semi equipment stocks almost to a fault, but they are my comfort zone and they are all well within rebound range for a move to new highs. Amat,Nvls,Ter,Cohu,Asyt, all will have huge quarters and backlogs.

Having said the fundamentals,it should be disclosed that in the past price has topped well before earnings has in all of the above. That's why I'm mostly cash.Still paying attention with some mad money because I really want to catch the top and do some shorting. I covered a short on amat yesterday because it is just not in my comfort zone.I knew it was the right trade but didn't want to wake up to that position. Much to learn and trying to be cautious in unsailed waters.

Your advice and nimbleness has been valuable to my very slow learning curve. I greatly value both you and GZ for your tutoring regarding trading both sides of the market.

I ramble

Bob

P.S. hope that drawing board had a new piece of paper on it.<vbg>
