You may be right about some companies trying to duplicate what the MicroOS can do but it will be at least a year if not more before they are able to implement this into their designs. That's assuming there are no bugs to be worked out and all is 100% functional. Now, how about other companies that do not have this engineering talent to draw upon. There are several companies that might want to have their own branded players on the market that do not develop consumer electronics or software for them. What are these companies to do. Another scenario is having the MicroOS burned into a DSP. Now that would solve everyone's problems wouldn't it and would make EDIG's MicroOS a standard to boot. Far fetched.... maybe, maybe not but a possibility nonetheless.

That Logic would have IBM, Dell, et all producing their own chips...no Intel inside?
