In general, a company gets too big won't be good for operation managing and strategy focusing as well as stock prices.

Ebbers vision is to be everywhere and to have everything.
Sometimes it doesn't work this way and he has to realize it.
Let say, you are UUNET employee having a stock options.
You can be discouraged by the price action. For that reason a friend of mine has moved to Quest and many others.
They know that UUNET is the best and the fastest growing
part of that company and they are want some action.
