Hi Saul,

From time to time, I check on the currency movement to see how it might be affecting the NAV of the Japanese fund I own. To the best of my knowledge, the fund hedges; I should double check to see exactly how they handle the currency aspect.

On a little happier note, the Nikkei was up last evening and the Yen was up as well
(+ .34%) and the fund gained about 4%. That's nice for a change, since I was beginning to think that they were holding raccoons in that portfolio.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Regards,

Jack

From Carol Steen

Hi... I've been postponing writing because I didn't know what to say. So I'll go with stream of consciousness. The book is beautiful and a huge surprise. When I opened it and saw it signed by the artist with the words "Take Flight", I just cried. And it makes me cry every time I think of those words... but in a good way. When he died by my side, it truly was as if I literally saw his soul take flight. And when he was alive, he was always in some way or another soaring to new heights. So, you captured the essence of his spirit - and I found it incredibly touching and moving and I haven't found the right words to thank you for that yet.

The cards from the AIM friends made the book all the more special. Please tell everyone how very much I appreciate it.

I'm in the process of turning the assets of John Galt Enterprises into a foundation and have committed to the foundation's first project - a camping facility for inner city youth. I'll write and send pictures after I get through tax season.

Thank you for the beautiful book - it will always be a wonderful way to remember him.

Carol
