Left Baby Bill...

Desperate moms may be able to abandon their babies at a fire station or a hospital and have protection from prosecution under this new bill.

This bill has already passed the Colorado Senate and is being hotly debated now in the house.

It isn't a criminal offense currently in Colorado to abandon a baby but if you put the baby at risk when you abandon it you are subject to charges of abuse. This bill is creating some moral confusion for both advocates and opponents. It is supposedly a "safe" way to abandon the child anonymously.
