Gary, am i on the right track ???

all this talk about csco keeping market share, losing market share, PE too high, etc, etc....seems rather mute. IMHO no one knows what csco, the company, will be in 2,3,4, or especially 5-10 years from now.....it seems like the company is constantly mutating or morphing into a new company as time goes on.......isn't that what we are paying for????.....i don't want to own the csco of 4 years ago ...i want to own the csco of the future.

btw, still trying to learn this stuff.

Have you ever heard the phrase "The customer is always right?";-)
When negotiating a contract with a large VAR of many vendors, it is best not to approach the customer as an equal. It is odd how other vendors were willing to bend over backwards to meet specific needs. Something Cisco used to be quite good at.

The dwindling market share is but a symptom of a much larger issue, an issue that obviously bleeds over into all market segments.
