You've got a point. I'm as guilty as anyone, and I confess to having enjoyed the off-topic political and general economic posts. In recompense, I created the following thread where the discussion can either continue or die from neglect: Subject 34078 I did this mainly because the other political threads looked like they were started by and inhabited by raving fanatics. Despite the extremes of disagreement we've seen on this thread, the discussion has been mostly intelligent, civil, and a genuine cut above the brief sample I saw elsewhere.
