Ah, we have a CFO stating for the record that sales will increase by "more than 66%". Since we all know this is a bottom line figure and must be defendable against every kind of unforseen problem, mishap, or demented shareholder lawsuit, it really means sales are virtually assured of growing over 75%. Nice reference to the phone market, which has not been a major user of their LED products until recently. Maybe some new contracts to be announced soon? Gee, I wonder why she made the statement today?

Well, is there really much news here. Cree had already announced that they had a one year backlog of orders. Also, recall that LED sales grew 105% in the last qtr. So, in that light the 66% is not that impressive. Of course, "more than 66%" could mean anything. Anyway, this investor is expecting LED growth in the 100% range, otherwise I think the stock price will tank. By definition a tornado is more than 100% growth and a lot of people are conjecturing that Cree is in a tornado. Maybe I'm missing something so if someone has a different take on this announcement please clarify. why.Thanks. I am way long on Cree and bought some more today at 140
