I just went looking and can't find it. Does anyone recall how much SNDK SEG had filed to sell recently. As of 1/1, it looks like SEG owned approx 4.0 mil shares. I'm wondering how many they have left (how many VRTS may be looking to sell).

TIA.

Jay

>>Guess it just goes to show that Lexar is great at stealing others ideas or intellectual properties. Or do I have to qualify my statement and say "purportedly" stealing???

Lexar Media = bunch of (purported) low lifes.<<

I'm inclined to agree with you. I'm also tmepted to buy into a Lexar IPO based on this info. It seems Lexar Management are sharks on the prowl- aggressive like I prefer a managment to be. This Lexar team seems to have an ear to the ground and a ballsy "Let's do what we want when we want to" attitude- also a plus.

Sandisk Management could learn a lot from Lexar. Sandisk until now has not had any need to be agressive or promote themselves- their products sell themselves, and are backordered for half a year. However, when supply catches up with demand in a few years, it is Management that will tell the tale of how this horse performs in a less constrained market.

Wake up, Sandisk. Sleepy-time is over. Get on the ball with a new, professional website. Get an online store. Make several very public alliances with name brands like Nikon- whoops- Lexar already HAS that one!
