addresses Wireless Web 2000

North Rock Communications General Manager, Tom
Coelho spoke at Wireless Web 2000, an annual
conference on Wireless Access and services. A
product demonstration was held for over 200
attendees. The presentation showcased how North
Rock's partnership with WaveRider Communications
Inc. is providing premium high speed Internet
service to Bermuda by eliminating the need for
third party involvement.

Tom Coelho, General Manager of North Rock
Communications stated, "We appreciate the
opportunity to demonstrate to this International
audience our initiative in bringing new, innovative
technology to Bermuda, technology which provides
a choice in how Internet services will be delivered.
By eliminating the need for third party involvement,
we will be able to enact rapid delivery of high
quality access, competitive prices, and improved
customer service. Wireless service has proven
itself as an excellent alternative to traditional
copper based access. North Rock intends to offer
a full suite of data products over its new network.
Commercial services are presently available in the
City of Hamilton and services aimed at the
residential market are expected during the third
quarter of 2000."
