you forget how much of this market is strictly T/A based. It can't do better until it does better(as stupid as that sounds).

Homestake's cash flow was .45 cents last year, and most producing gold stocks are trading at 9-10 times cash flow, which would justify a price of $4.00-4.50. Obviously, folks must be expecting 60-75 cents of cash flow for next year and/or factoring in the fact that HM reserves are priced at only $40 per ounce (NEM=50, ABX=90). HM is cheap, but it might get cheaper before going up agian.
