Eric,

Did you ever work with Tom Snyder in your television career? (he has worked at so many stations during his lifetime)
It is very interesting that you think the dot.coms are in bad shape, but you still like CSCO here. In my view, both are still overvalued, but you think that CSCO will rebound soon? On the hourly chart the stock is oversold, but on the daily chart nothing near that yet, so shorting the bounces may still be a good idea. Yogi

>>Cisco is the best positioned tech stock that I've owned in the last 15 years. Us investors have a lot to be thankful with Chambers and Co. in charge. I almost sold this stock back during the Asian meltdown but the fundamentals kept me from doing it. Fighting fear is a hard thing to do in a bear market.
This tech correction is good and the bull market is not dead for this area by any means! The Dot.Coms are another story!

Did you see Charlie Rose last night? The publisher (I believe the publisher) of Fortune was on and they talked about the techs and how most of the dot coms were facing a precarious future. They distinguished those and the other mania stocks from superlative Cisco, (Rose added a disclaimer as Cisco underwrites his PBS show), noting that Cisco was the tech phenom, with the best management and position in the business - a company that is the best of the best.
