Companies know that they have to file, so why put it off until the SEC forces the issue. (I guess it is like people filing their income taxes at the last minute.) I don't think that most companies know how detailed and deep the filing goes until they get involved in the process. Most companies would not have accountants that have the foggiest idea of what is required. At least, after they have filed once, they will have the format down to use in the future as a guide. Companies can go under do to the lack of knowledgeable accountants. Scoob
