"Comment: Shhhh! Paulie might be lurking!" I put Paul on "ignore" and surprise, surprise this thread has become substantially more enjoyable! While I respect his intelligence, a break from his demeaning attacks on the pro AMD crowd is a relief. One thing though he mentioned that I would like to see (because I own stock in both companies) is an alliance between AMD and Sun. I don't think it is a crazy idea -- marry AMD's sledgehammer to Solaris. AMD obtains entry to the server market and Sun precludes Intel from shaping its future.
