Steve, -- marry AMD's sledgehammer to Solaris. AMD obtains entry to the server market and Sun precludes Intel from shaping its future. Another benefit to Sun would be that they would lose their dependence on Sun Microelectronics, which currently threatens to drag them down into oblivion. Scumbria

SteveC Re: One thing though he mentioned that I would like to see (because I own stock in both companies) is an alliance between AMD and Sun. Steve, Hold SUNW at your own risk. Some people on the thread have suggested that INTC lies to investors, you should see SUNW. The only company that lies more than SUNW is ORCL. The truth will come out for both of these companies eventually. There's no telling how their stocks will act. There's a lot of stupid people on wall street that are blinded by the great marketing of "we're the dot in dot com" and "oracle is e-business". chic
