Joe, I figure Al Gore lost the Veteran's vote today and all people who are on active duty. You and I both served and know that there is a chain of command and it is set up for a reason.
You take orders from your commander, you do not question him in public as that will cause all of those lower in the chain to question how strong command is. Gore served and should know this
Today for the sake of the Cuban vote in Florida, Al Gore stuck a knife in Bill Clinton's back. msnbc.com
I will point out the many months Al Gore had a chance to talk with his commander and that when the child was first to be sent back that was fine with No Controlling Authority Al.
He should also lose the vote of all Americans. We've had a president for YEARS that we could not trust. A president that looked us right in the eye, pointed his finger at us, and then lied to us. If Al Gore's pal Bill Clinton can't trust him, can we?
I think Al Gore with his slick politics looking for Cuban votes in Florida, did serious damage to any chance he ever had. Bush is very smart ignoring the CNBC and Al Bore debate hopes, the stick man will take care of himself.
For the sake of the Cuban vote in Florida, Al Gore gave Castro a major victory. You can bet Cuba wonders how strong our chain of command is.
Al Gore is unfit to be president and he should step down if he doesn't agree with the President's policies.
