Still down in the Caribbean. Yesterday the gods (goddesses) of Fate place me on the same beach as the Fund Manager. Worse yet, he's sitting maybe five-feet from me. I wanna get some sun, do some swimming, body-surfing. I fly maybe 1500 miles and end up on the beach with a FUND MANAGER. I'm not too crazy about Fund Managers. After they tell you they only made 130% last year they say they're looking for 160% next year. And they always use Other People's Money. They're wild risk-takers, cause it ain't their money. If it was their money they'd be in government bonds. And he wants to talk about he market. Terrific. So I'm thinking... "drown him", "drown him not", "drown him", "drown him not". Or maybe I'll just kick sand in his face. They'll never miss one more Fund Manager. As I start for his throat he utters the magic words that save him; "I can't stand Larry Kudlow." If you really wanna know the truth, I can't stand Larry Kudlow either. Soon we become friends. He tells me what he's been buying: JDSU, QCOM, ALKS, CEGE, maybe half a dozen others. We had a great day on the beach. Gonna go again tomorrow. (Lee)
