Capt.... I was very bullish on CPQ until the stock fell apart on an earnings warning rumor. I was even charged with being a cheerleader. Wasn't the rumor that turned me off but was the management's failure to come forward in a timely fashion and clear the air. The following is a comment from N.R. with which I agree. El >>>Good management doesn't just give guidance at the end of each quarter. When things come up
that make investors nervous they step forward and calm investors by reiterating their guidance
in order to try and prevent volatility. Assuming they still feel good about their guidance.

The Management should also realize that the morale of their employees is at stake because
they are all shareholders too!<<<
