<<<mass exodus of SEG, turned VRTS, sharehoders selling on the day they get the opportunity>>>

VRTS and SEG prices are linked. We already have the opportunity to sell our interest in VRTS by selling SEG on Monday.

I have owned SEG for over 14 years (cost basis under $4/sh). The disk drive business is being stolen. The current management and board should be replaced. I have sent a letter to Seagate saying I will vote against this deal, against this board, and against this management at every opportunity. I also stated that I will join any class action suit against them.

I hope for the deal to be sweetened. I hope to retain my interest in the drive business but when I lose this fight I will own VRTS.

MikeM -- at this point the "exchange" is set .467 shares of VRTS and $5 in cash for each share of SEG. SEG will tend to trade in relation to the stock price of VRTS. If VRTs goes up, then SEG will go up -- if VRTS falls then SEG will fall...

Something may come in to disrupt the deal. another offer; an upping of the offer (or a lowering or changing of the offer). Regardless we are now in an "arbitrage" situation. I agree thats not what the SEG shareholders got into this stock for in the first place though....
