"We already have the opportunity to sell our interest in VRTS by selling SEG on Monday."

RDB- Yes and that may be what is happening now.

But my real point, which isn't easy to explain, is I would have been very, very happy just leaving the entire situation as it was pre-fiasco. Hidden value in SEG and lot's of discussions on how to unlock it. While the discussions are going on, VRTS can go on it's merry upward path to $200, and hence SEG goes up too.

Then eventually the HDD sector would start turning around, VRTS would either prove it's market cap reasonable or market cap would come down to meet reality. AND the SEG share price would start to accurately reflect the true value of HDD business on an upswing.

At that point, then unleash the SEG Officers, BOD, and LBO gang to tackle the VRTS locked-in value. That way the true value of SEG's HDD business could have been easily been determined without questioning the motives off the SEG Officers, BOD, and LBO Gang.

I'm hoping this is what happens. Everyone just walks away, change nothing(including SEG management) and let's carry on with business. -MikeM(From Florida)
