o.k,hope i can explain this one.I am getting, several times a day, trapped on IE,such that mouse is moving, but NOTHING responds to mouse clicking---i mean nothing--it can happen on ANY web site at ANY time, and there is NO pattern to this event--totally random.Because i am trapped,i have NO choice but to hit re-boot--and go through the whole damned shutdown re-boot process and reconnecting with my server.
and yes i DO hit Esc,but there is no response.
Question one,how can i escape WITHOUT having to re-boot????? Question 2,why is this happenning?? thank you max

"...and after the screen came back on..."

i wonder if these aren't the operative words, as in reboot.

I'm taking credit for that one whether it was the boot or not. <gg>
