Not sure if you are rebooting using the Start button...or if you have tried this:

When the browser freezes, try pressing the keys Ctrl Alt Delete all at the same time...once. A window should appear and if one of the applications is not responding, highlight it and click on END TASK.

My browser used to freeze with some regularity. For me, it seemed to be related to my available Resources being low. I now monitor them with the Windows Resource Meter, closing apps as necessary... and I find the problem has diminished.
