This is the Gorilla and King Portfolio candidates thread.

So, let's hear it for Kings.

Agreed. Let's also hear it for the recently much maligned candidates. Listening to the recent discussion on this thread, it seems to me that the Watch & Wait List is in danger of becoming off-topic. Perhaps it is time for a "Gorillas & Kings" thread and a separate "Gorilla & King Candidates" thread. Unfortunately, this thread wishes to be the former but will forever be named the latter. To me, that seems to be the source of some of the confusion.

Cha2,
I hold JDSU also but have not been thrilled lately. I also hold quite a lot of EMC-- declared a King by most people here. Although it has had a pretty good run the last several weeks it got slaughtered last week. Kings are good but it looks like they take it on the chin a little harder than gorillas during a downdraft.

I did have covered calls on both JDSU and EMC so my losses are not as bad as they otherwise would have been.
