You bet, I'll take it- I love free books.

I am reading The Wisdom of Bones- I really like it. I recently finished Kaaterskill Falls- I think you would LOVE it. It's about a Jewish summer retreat- it is a very good story.

I saw My Dog Skip yesterday with my kids- you know that's a wonderful evocative movie- and it really isn't "just" a child's movie.

And today I ate too many biscotti.

I remember the discussion here about the smell of a baby's head. I tried to enter into the mystery with two babies now, and I must abjectly confess that the only info I got from a cranial sniff was a
a) somebody needs a bath
b) Formula smells nasty sour
c) surprisingly detailed info on type and extent of diaper enhancer.
d) doesn't ANYBODY make "unscented" baby toiletries!?

I must conclude that this is something that is a mommy thing. I have a good nose, I am above average as American men go regarding being in touch with my senses, and still I don't smell Baby Magic. I wanted to. I really did.
I'm sure that there ARE men out there who can smell it, but I do believe that genetically, physiologically, this is a woman's thing.
