I agree completely with your comments, struggling investor. I think in an ideal marketplace, with "vrts" executing well, that "seg" could go as high as $100 - and a higher bid/counter bid comes into play.

I just don't want to take a chance with a management team that doesn't represent my best interest, and is out for themselves. I think that is clearly apparent here.

Of course, the market decline of "vrts" is an important secondary issue.

I'll put my money into companies where the management focus is about creating shareholder value, not creating management value for a spinoff of the new "seg" in 12-18 months. Funny thing is, I don't mind losing money if "seg" were to go up right now! If I don't trust management, I don't want anything they have to offer.
