Re: "Elmer, I agree, niceguy is highly optomistic. I appreciate your posts. I like that you can disagree with us "AMDroids" without demeaning us. Keep it up. Someone has to keep us living in the real world, not some fantasy land"

Thank you!

chic,

Someone has to keep us living in the real world, not some fantasy land.

For as long as I can remember, Elmer has been warning us of impending disaster and reminding us of the many, many failings of the Athlon processor.

Is that reality?

chick Re <<I like that you can disagree with us "AMDroids" without demeaning us>>

I have been "ignoring" Elmer's posts for a while, but I remember him being very demeaning and condescending at times.

Perhaps he is behaving better since all his negative talks with regard to Athlon's failure has not materialized.

chic,

Excuse me?!! Are you sure you have been following thread for several months now? Elmer can be very demeaning and when not demeaning, very abusive which can become demeaning.

Comment: Someone has been living in a fantasy land since AMD was at $20...Certainly hasn't been me...My targets stated in November of $48.50 and $60 by April options expiry date have been realized and that's reality...Some here, in November, couldn't see AMD over $25 in Y2000, and that's fantasy land!
