Scumbria Re: For as long as I can remember, Elmer has been warning us of impending disaster and reminding us of the many, many failings of the Athlon processor.

Is that reality?

Scumbria

Scumbria,
No, this is not reality. On the other hand, this thread provides me with much of my links and resources. To a certain extent, this thread helps me "sleep well at night" considering I'm nearly 100% vested in AMD. I don't mind hearing a few non-AMD thoughts. I like to hear all view points so I don't get "blind" to reality.

For the most part, I agree with you. But I will continue to read non-AMD posts to help me "sleep well at night".

Scumbria in your typical biased thinking you've completely ignored my posts about owning AMD because I think they have a good product and a chance to remain profitable for several quarters to come, at least. I provide a balance for investors so they won't be fooled by the one sided, and occasionally false propaganda posted by people like you. Too bad Chic wasn't here to see your hysterical response to the Willamette demo. Remember that one when you said it was incredibly slimy for Intel to claim Willamette was running at 1.5GHz on a .18u process? Well Willamette was and you looked really dumb for making that hysterical accusation.
