nihil, I have read quite a bit of Native American history and visited among the old people of a number of tribes decades ago. I can see that your observations of whatever you read was seen through a jaundiced eye. ~H~

You are right on the money. This romanticism is only another form of racism. The Indians are just as big money grubbers as the whites.

Where I am they have a slightly higher standard of living (material wise) than the whites, thanks to no taxes, free education and subsidies for everything.
