Marvin: Gates has lost prestige and credibility -- I wonder how he feels about being "convicted" of criminal conduct. This is an indictment of the man. I doubt he can see himself as "harming" consumers and he probably took pride in destroying competitors -- now he has been publicly shamed. I don't feel any pity -- I don't believe the unbridled use of any form of power is something to admire -- and I don't admire Gates. The industry will benefit from this conviction of Bill Gates.

I hope they force MSFT to remove the resigstration requirement on Office 2k. That really p*?!@#$# me off when I install it on a second machine and have to call and plead with some Mr. Softy tech geek to "please give me the unlock code so the program can be run more than 12 freekin' times".
